The Fontanas deliver an upbeat live ­set that gets audiences bouncing around like carnival come early. Positive and totally feel good, the Fontanas sound consists of Brazilian funk and jump up Latin ska. The band is composed of hand picked musicians who have played alongside the likes of Incognito and Alice Russell, specialists at whipping the crowd into a funky Latin frenzy. The Fontanas have been trail blazing across the festival landscape in the last few years including at Glastonbury, Bestival, The Secret Garden Party, Kelburn Garden Party, Lovebox, Tropical Pressure, Barbican Festival, Edinburgh Festival, BT and London Live Victoria Park as well as at venues such as Ronnie Scotts, Rich Mix and The Vaults Waterloo. They released their debut album 'Purple Patch' and the remix album 'The Fontanas Remixed' on Movimientos Records.
